KEY TO THE DISTRICT
Recipients of the Key to the Sixth District were based on the following criteria:
Impact and Contribution
Demonstrated significant contributions to the community in one or more of the specified fields (construction, sports, education, agriculture, business).
Evidence of lasting impact on community development, wellbeing, or social progress.
Leadership and Initiative
Proven record of leadership roles in community projects, initiatives, or organizations.
Examples of initiatives taken to address local challenges, including innovative solutions
or programs that have benefited the community.
Dedication to Community Development
Commitment to Community service and improvement, including volunteer efforts.
Participation in programs or activities that promote education, healthy living, sustainability, or economic growth within District 6.
Achievement and Recognition
Notable achievements within their field, such as awards, accolades or recognitions from
professional organizations or community groups.
Influence on others in their profession, including mentoring or training individuals to succeed.
Collaboration and Teamwork
Evidence of collaboration with local organizations, government, or other stakeholders to promote community development.
Ability to build partnerships that enhance resources or opportunities for residents of District 6.
Vision for the Future
A clear vision for the future of District 6 related to their area of expertise.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing community involvement and improvement initiatives.
LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional performance in their field for a continuous period of 15 years or more. This award is open to candidates from any category eligible for annual recognition. To qualify, nominees should be actively engaged or have recently retired from their profession, or may be posthumously recognized for their contributions at the time of selection.
